Denny is a U.S. Navy Captain (Reserve – Intelligence) and senior aerospace executive with significant expertise in defense, intelligence, public security and big data analytics.
Denny developed markets for General Dynamics serving as Director of Maritime Domain Awareness and SAIC as the Senior Intelligence Market Development Executive. At CAE, Denny expanded their core aviation training business to new maritime and public security markets and established its Washington, DC office.
Denny was mobilized to active duty Naval service immediately after 9/11 and later served in multiple senior civilian posts in Naval Intelligence. She is the recipient of the Secretary of the Navy’s Superior Civilian Service Award and multiple military decorations. Denny has also served as a civilian Highly Qualified Expert at the US Office of the Secretary of Defense.
Denny spent a decade in Silicon Valley supporting venture capital-backed start-ups on pre-IPO marketing and communications strategies. She was a Reagan Administration Presidential Appointee in multiple agencies and most notably served Assistant Press Secretary to President Reagan where she was as an official White House Spokeswoman on domestic and foreign affairs.
After service in the Reagan Administration, Denny was a Media Fellow and Visiting Scholar at The Hoover Institution at Stanford University.
