Charles Sirois is Chairman of the Board of NorthStar Earth and Space Inc. Mr. Sirois is the founder, controlling shareholder and Chair of Telesystem, a family-owned media and technology holding that has been a catalyzer of innovation since 1972. Mr. Sirois is also the founder of Tandem Expansion Fund, a private investment fund focused on growth capital for technology companies, co-founder and Chairman of Pangea Agriculture Group, as well as founding partner and Chairman of Enablis Entrepreneurial Network, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to empowering entrepreneurship in Africa and Argentina. Mr. Sirois is a leading figure in the Canadian communications industry having co-founded BCE Mobile Communications, Telesystem International Wireless (TIW) and Microcell Telecommunications (Fido brand), and for having led Teleglobe as Chairman and CEO. Mr. Sirois also chairs the Fondation de l'entrepreneurship and sits on the board of Rogers Communications. Mr. Sirois holds a master's degree in finance and honorary doctorates from five Canadian universities. He is a member of the Order of Canada and the Ordre national du Québec, and is the author of two books: The Medium and the Muse and Organic Management: Creating a Culture of Innovation.
